Glacial action at glacial speed. We were told it is receding and we were shown how much it had changed in the last 25 years. Still, a great day on the water out of Valdez.

We took our boat over there to view the glacier. We had to work our way around icebergs and we couldn't get very close but what we could see was excellent. Worth the boat ride in there to see it.

Very comfortable boat with coffee bar and lunch provided, we have seen them all; seals, whales, bold eagles, very good storyteller/female captain, we liked it very much!

Wow Columbia Glacier is just amazing, so beautiful and you can here the Glacier moving all the time. The ice around is interesting too.
