My friend and I booked 3 days (10 dives!) of diving with this company. On the morning we were scheduled to be picked up from our hotel, no one from the company showed up. We sat anxiously waiting and trying to contact someone for 45 minutes, until we finally received a message from them. They said they had a family emergency, they were in Cairo (not even in the Marsa Alam area), and not only were they not coming to pick us up that morning, but they had to cancel our entire booking! This interaction made me so disappointed in their customer service, especially because they had been so responsive when I was trying figure out a good package for my friend and I. They did not even have an alternative option for us. The entire reason we went to Marsa Alam was to scuba dive in the Red Sea. We thought our trip was ruined. Luckily, Ducks Diving Superior had availability (which they do not always have). We had a fantastic time and could not speak more highly of their staff, facilities and gear. I would absolutely go back and recommend them to anyone who wishes to dive in that area. I feel bad for the Marsa Alam Divers staff and hope everything turned out OK with their family, but they were extremely unprofessional. We were lucky to find Ducks Diving Superior. It was the first time for me to dive in Egypt, and we were hosted by Karim and his team from Marsa Alam Divers. It is a well organized team and they know what they are talking about when it comes to diving. Dive courses, & rental of equipment, is all possible. They have a lot of experience and know the dive spots very well. We were so lucky to see a group of dolphins swimming in front of the boat, a big sea-cow, a large sea turtle, and great coral reefs and its underwater life.
