This tour is an absolute must! If you haven‘t been in luxor, you were never in egypt! I recommend the private tour. It does not cost a lot more, but you will have so many benefits. Your trip is so much faster because you travel by car and not by bus. Furthermore you can stay as long as you want with every attraction. When you want to move on you can do it when you want and you don’t have to wait for other people. We had Hamy as a guide. Very friendly! He gave us not too much and not too less information - just perfect! Last but not least we had lunch in a beautiful restaurant in luxor at the border of the nile. One of the best egyptian meals I ever had! So I can only recommend this trip! If you’re staying in Hurghada you have to do it!…

I have just been reminiscing about my amazing one day private tour of Luxor with Marsa Alam Tours as it is coming to the time of year when I generally book a holiday. Unfortunately due to COVID pandemic and the restrictions on travel from the UK I have been unable to book another trip to Egypt. As soon as international travel is permitted I won’t hesitate to visit Egypt again as the hospitality and friendliness I experienced there is out of this world. I would without hesitation use Marsa Alam Tours to book more excursions to see the other historical wonders that Egypt has to offer. On my previous visit I booked a 1 day private tour from Marsa Alam to Luxor, visiting the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, Karnak Temple, Luxor Temple to name just a few. I thoroughly enjoyed the private tour and found I was able to ask my professional guide Hamy any questions which he always answered intellectually and courteously and without hesitation. The amount of knowledge he has regarding the sites is simply staggering and he is clearly passionate about his job with the fabulous ways he describes the monuments and sites. I found the private tour excellent as it was more personal than a large tour group and definitely value for money. After speaking in depth with Hamy he recommended other sites to visit on my next trip such as the Aswan High Dam, the unfinished obelisk, the Great Temple of Abu Simple and the Nubian Village on the West Bank of the Nile. I will most certainly be booking these excursions on my next trip to Egypt and would request that the same guide Hamy conduct the tour as I’m sure he would deliver a most excellent tour and it would be great to reconnect with him. I can’t wait to visit Egypt again and would definitely book with Marsa Alam Tours for my next excursions.…
