We lived there in 1969-1970. Harry Kapron and spouse ran the place back then with loving care. They let us boys stay up there without charge as we were working to earn university wages. We helped where we could. I remember in particular the time...More

I was told that this was a must- do in Talkeetna and I must stay for a Wednesday late afternoon, it did a good enough job. I’m sure when it’s busy, it could be a great night out. Especially when there’s bands on.
We were in Talkeetna overnight, decided to drop in for a visit and drinks
We had an absolute great afternoon, met people, joined in with the regulars, our bartender was very good
If your there, drop in and say hi, you"ll enjoy it
