Great way to see BALD EAGLES!

There were four of us and the guide and a 'safety' boat. It was a drizzly day, rain on and off, but they geared us up in heavy rubber suits so the rain didn't stop anything. We... read more

There were four of us and the guide and a 'safety' boat. It was a drizzly day, rain on and off, but they geared us up in heavy rubber suits so the rain didn't stop anything. We saw some otters, but saw a LOT OF BALD EAGLES. Were able to get close enough to take some good pictures. Guide was... More

Green Bean was our guide and was both informative and educational. The additional rafts (2) in the group were also enjoying their guides and afterward on the banks we all took photos with our respective guides and shots of the guides together.Would highly recommend.

We booked a 3-hour raft trip through Princess; had a great trip on beautiful, warm, clearday. Very comfortable even with my bad hip. Guides very patient helping me get down to the water and in and out of the raft. Fantastic views of Denali and the whole Alaska Range. Sawlogs of Bald Eagles; not much other wildlife. Highly recommended for... More

Sorry to give a low review but this really was a lame excursion. The guides that worked there were in bad need of a bath and not concerned if we had a good time or not. Seemed like a bunch of misfits, sorry! Half way through the float we stopped at the bank to hear a guy play the banjo... More

There's not a lot to Talkeetna, a small town at the confluence of the Talkeetna, Susitna, and Chulitna that relies on tourism for much of its income. Today some of its tourist income was going to come from us because we'd organised a Float Trip on the Talkeetna when we were back in Australia. We caught the shuttle from Mount... More

Had a great float down the Talkeetna River with our awesome guide Ryan Bouma (aka Greenbean), pictured. Beautiful, serene, and peaceful. Enjoyed hearing the wind in the trees and the rippling river water while inhaling the fresh Alaskan air. (Much preferred over a noisy boat engine and diesel fumes.) And thanks to Tim for helping get us ready and getting... More

We had a fun rafting trip with Grant on the Chulitna River. He was a great guide with lots of information about the rivers and area. We saw so many eagles we lost count! Also saw salmon in the tributary streams. They provided rubber rain gear and boots to keep rafters warm and dry on the river. Scenery is beautiful... More

We rafted the Chulitna with Alishka as our guide. She made our trip! She was so interesting, charming and a great strong rafter! She was our favorite guide in all of our tours of Alaska. It was a chilly, wet day but she brought warm drinks and snacks and made sure the weather did not dampen our spirits. What an... More

One of my favorite activities in Alaska. Took the 2 hour float and learned a lot from our guide about the area. I wish we had the time for the longer 4 hour tour. Next time, we will plan our activities around the float. Such a peaceful way to see and learn about the area. Saw Eagles and salmon. Ask... More

We did the 4 hour float trip and it was so much fun. We had Scott who was super friendly and knowledgeable. We saw countless Eagles. We stopped along the way to check out bear tracks and have some hot chocolate. Later we had an awesome cookie from the Flying Squirrel Bakery and then finished up the float trip with... More
