The Thien Mu Pagoda is a Sight to Behold
The Thien Mu Pagoda is a must-visit destination in Vietnam. With its picturesque scenery, grandeur, and exquisite sculptures, it is truly a sight to behold. The friendly staff are always willing to help and provide interesting information about the history of the pagoda. A visit to the Thien Mu Pagoda is a great way to get a glimpse of Vietnamese culture and spirituality.

Was nice to be able to get up the mountain in half a day but it seems a bit of a sell out of the region. Mixed feelings.
We were in Sapa only for one day and Fansipan Park was recommended to us. It was quite expensive and although our SPN is only 10, he is above 1,40m hence he counts as an adult. We had prebooked tickets and they could not do a rebooking at the counter. Also when coming to the top of the cable car, the little funiculaire going all the way to the top was another ticket. We decided to walk up the 600 stairs. A lot but still we managed. Remember to bring jackets for the kids at least even though in Sapa it’s still very hot. We had around 30 degrees C but two hours on the mountain with winds it gets quite chilly. The temples were interesting and amazing how all of this was carried up the mountain. Afterwards our host told us the mountain was owned by a huge company so in hindsight we would have maybe not gone there.

The roof of Indochina @ 3143M
This is an incredible piece of engineering with the trip up climbing from the bottom station at 1490M to 3000M. Firstly on the Funicular (up to 1625M) and then transferring to the 6km long cable car that really puts in the work to the top. Once there your day is not done as the final 143m to the top of the top at 3143M involves alots of stairs, ups and downs, and plenty of view points and structures of interest. The great Buddha, pagoda, stupa, temples, statues and a 9 tier man made waterfall. Even on a cloudy day we found the visit to be well worth while.

    Beautiful place
We were worried that this would not be open due to maintenance, however, we really lucked out! We went on the first day of reopening and are really glad that we did. It was extremely gloomy in Sapa town centre but at the top was sunny! It’s very windy up there so make sure to wear layers. There is the option to get trains up however, we opted to walk to see all of the different view points! Expect it to be fairly tough walking up but the views are truly worth it! Highly recommend!

    Breathtaking views
We realize we were extremely lucky to have perfect weather, so we could enjoy the entire experience - one of the best things we've ever seen or done! The gondola ride was smooth and the views were outstanding, and the complex at the top is outstanding and perfectly integrated with the surrounding landscape. We took the tram all the way up to the top, and then took the stairs back to the gondola station to go down. This allowed us to explore all the temples, pagodas, cafes, etc at the top. An outstanding day trip!

Overrated but not enough information available online
The cable car is impressive. The top of the mountain is very windy. You will need the jacket even in April. There are a lot of stairs even you go by train. It’s difficult to breath at the top. You can take the monorail from the station which is located very next to tourist attraction area. The entrance to cable is crazy. After taking off from the monorail, you need to climb uphill (walking) and then go down to cable car station (by escalator). I believe visiting the garden and village should be by choice of the visitors. Anyway, a good experience for one time. I am not sure if I would recommend to my friend.

    Awesome
When I looked at this place first I thought it was rather expensive but now I know why. Money well spent. We took the Funicular up to the 1st level & spent most of the morning walking around the flower garden & other things. At around 11.30 we made our way to the cable car & wow what a ride! At the top we had lunch & then set out to climb the 600 steps to the top. On reaching the summit the clouds broke & we had tremendous views. After a coffee we made our way down in the Funicular to the cable car station.

    A Worthwhile Experience ✨
The weather in Sapa is unpredictable. We went up during a cloudy day and wasn’t able to enjoy the view as much if it were a sunny day. However, despite the weather, we were able to enjoy the experience. Being able to reach the top was a really fulfilling journey especially for us. If you’re planning to go to Sapa. I highly recommend getting the roundtrip ticket for the cable car and the monorail. The cable car experience was so fun as we were the only ones to board the 35-seater car. Definitely the highlight of our trip. You also don’t have to worry about food or clothes since they have shops available to cater to your needs. Just make sure to dress warmly as it is cool and cold up at the peak.

If you plan on doing the ascent on foot from love water fall and getting cable car down buy your tickets before as its almost 2x times more expensive for the decent one way, truly scamming the public who want to climb it

Most. Badly organised attractions I’ve ever been!!!
Don’t buy only the doppelmayer telecabine learn also how to organise a fluent way to create and fluent line and not a waiting time for more then 3 hours
This is maybe a nice attraction but cueing and organisation are horrible

As the longest cable car in the world, the ride is truly unique and mindblowing. However, due to the swinging of the car, we got incredibly motion sick and were not able to enjoy the ride. Furthermore, we were disappointed by the touristy nature of the site. We were excited to go to the top of Fansipan mountain for the scenery. However, you are forced to walk through fake villages and multiple gift shops and food courts to reach the destination.
