Myself and my fiancé attended several classes at House of Alaia, we couldn't get enough! The team are amazing and really patient in teaching you all the skills to create your own pieces from scratch. We learnt so much and had such an amazing time. We have beautiful keepsakes from our time in Bali! A special thanks to Ayu who... More

We had no idea we were supposed to come with an idea of what we wanted to make and a sample drawing, so when we showed up empty handed we were a little take aback. We also didn't have wifi and they didn't really have any photos or resources to help you pick something, other than samples of other jewelry... More

I was honestly really disappointed with the class I took. I wanted to take this class to learn a new skill. Butwhat I got was to watch a ring being made for me, whilst I awkwardly sat to the side. The closest I got to using any on the equipment was to hold a blow torch occasionally. Nothing was explained... More

Feel so happy that I found this little shop with handmade jewelry. Bought this beautiful cuffs and necklaces in the shop! Friendly staff that helped me to adjust the collar to a longer chain. Since I came home from Bali, I have received many compliments from friends for my unique bracelet

I had a great time at the beginners metalsmithing class! I chose earrings that were a little difficult to make and Ayu was totally cool with that, and even had her staff think about how to make them beforehand. Ayu and her staff are very friendly and helpful. They were very happy to explain everything to me and even took... More

It is easy to bypass this shop as it is set back a bit and on a curve in the road. But situated next to bustling and holistic Oka's Bakery and Cafe. Beautiful workshop to learn jewelry making with a team of experienced local talents. Jewelry shop to admire and purchase covetable pieces of jewelry and gifts. Highly recommended.

I had a wonderful time making a ring at Alaia. I'm very proud of the finished product which is such a symbolic and personal souvenir of my time in Bali. Highly recommend!!

Although I did not participate to the workshop, I did however fall in love with the various jewelry exposed at the shop. Each totem has a distinctive signification, and the artists were very patient in explaining them all to me. Taking the painful decision of which animal token to buy, I made up my mind to choose a bear, a... More
