Beautiful Sunset

Great surfers beach with a great vibe and beautiful sunset. It does have more of a grey sand but still a good beach.

There is a small fee to park your scooter (2000rp), but the surf is great. Not too crowded and plenty of little breaks to surf on. The water can be a little dirty after some rain, but it is still okay. The water was nice and warm in April too.

parking fee is required for the motorbike. The beach is long, wide and dark black. Surfers paradise. Great sunset. Stalls renting sunbeds, drinks, corn and offering surf lessons.

Good beach for surfers, best waves in the morning: good for beginners. Nice place to watch the sunset.

A short visit to this beach to take a photo of the sunset proved absolutely worthwhile. The winds were really strong with sea spray and the waves were crashing onto the rockface that had a small statue on it. Absolutely wonderful to revel in the sunset. After that, you can take a walk along the road to dine in one... More

The wind swept beach, black sand, and the friendly locals at the warung always brought me to this used to be quiet beach. It has since been completely overrun with lounge chairs and bamboo buildings stretching nearly to Kuta... The once quiet surf spot is now so crowded you could walk from board to board without getting your feet wet.... More

About a year since last here, not much has changed. Still very popular with local and international surfers. The sets were great last year, but very little rain in months prior. Hoping for better conditions in the week coming. Best to bring board on a scooter, or hire one from the 3-4 rental outlets on the beach. Cab or taxi... More

it is not a powder white sandy beach, it is opposite the great spot Old Man's and is a fabulous surf spot which you dont have to fight your way to a wave. The street leading up from the beach has amazing coffee shops, clothes shops and eating spots. The beach itself is not too crowded and if you want... More

Black sand beach. Not something to seek out necessarily, & it does get dirty. A host of uninspiring and shabby warungs line the terrace on beach. It was low tide quite possibly more picturesque at high tide. Wouldn't highly recommend for any length of time.

Instead of the busier Kuta, Berawa is quieter place and good for relaxation holiday. This is my second visit to Berawa and Canggu area, I still in love with this place and of course, Ubud! It's comparable!!!
