Took our kids to see the dam. Very badly maintained. Not too many people around to take care. Water levels is ok maybe because of the recent floods. Not worth going to see.

quite a nice and serene place ..you have to cross the neyyar lake to reach the neyyar wildlife sanctuary to see lions roaming freely...there is a small crocodile sanctuary as well on the banks of the river...the boat ride on thi lake is pristine...

There is a jungle park in an island . You can even see Lion ! There is an entry fee to the Dam ( 10-20₹) You have to wait for any group to go for boating if you are alone . I forgot the rate but it was around 150-200... More
