The lake water near the dam is clear and the boat ride in this is great. The Lion Safari is bad, the lions are out of place. The deer and the elephant rehabilitation serve good as rehabilitation centers. The crocodile research is also functional.

Amazing views across the lake. Shame about litter in places. Very peaceful and restful atmosphere worth the winding roads to get there!

There are many other attractions beside Dam.There are park,wild life sanctuary,Elephant Safari etc....I realy likes Elephant Safari.It is nice place to visit in one day tours.

I used to live not very far from here. Unfortunately there is nothing much to see here. The government needs to look into the ecotourism project in neyyar dam it is promoting. I would rather go to spots around this place.

There is a jungle park in an island . You can even see Lion ! There is an entry fee to the Dam ( 10-20₹) You have to wait for any group to go for boating if you are alone . I forgot the rate but it was around 150-200... More
