Tame but fun outing!

It was really cool learning so much about these animals. The walk is easy and the guides are very informative. Pretty nice tour.

On Mother's day mothers are free. This a very pretty to go, not only do you get to see the musk ox but you can see Hatcher pass and all the mountains around. Getting round the farm is a breeze with walking paths.

My sister and I wanted to see the Musk Ox up close and personal, we enjoyed our tour and the short walk around the farm. Our tour guide was cute as can be and really did a good job with the presentation. Buy a raffle ticket to help buy hay for the winter.Worth the stop and small admissions fee.

Suzanne loves these musk ox and guiding guests. She is cute as a button and has a clever routine. You won't be bored and you will be amazed that a person can walk a mile backwards without missing a beat. We had a person in an adult stroller pushed by woman. So, is wheelchair accessible to an extent. Nice small... More

A great way to see and learn about a magnificent animal. This working farm has and shares the complete story on the preservation of the musk ox.

We stopped by the Musk Ox Farm while we were in Palmer. They have a nice free visitors center that has a lot of good information. There is a 45 minute tour that they offer, however, we did not have to take it since it was not starting for another 30 minutes when were there. We could see some Musk... More

My husband and I arrived at the musk ox farm after lunch. There was plenty of parking even for campers. We paid our entrance fee and waited for the tour to begin. While we were waiting, we looked at all the signboards in the gift shop educating us about how musk ox came to the Mat-Su area. Samantha was our... More

We stopped in and took the 45 minute tour around the farm. The guide was very informative and I loved getting to see these amazing animals up close. We even got a chance to feed the baby calves! After our visit, I have some serious respect for this facility and their long-term vision. All the tour money goes towards helping... More

Tour guide was very informative. Musk Ox were pretty cool, many were pretty far out in the field but I'm sure this isn't always the case. Got to see a baby Musk Ox up close and feed it some greens. Cool to learn about Qiviut. Lots of history to read about while you wait as well. BE CAREFUL WHERE YOU... More
