I'm too old for the santa claus thing, but this little place was neat. It had a little restaurant inside, but it was mainly a gift shop. I was able to pick up some made in AK souvenirs along with some other trinkets for the...More

The Santa Clause House is considered a “must do” in North Pole, however I️ think it’s over rated. It is basically just a big gift shop. Even during the holiday season I’ve never seen Santa there. He’s always on break!

Another roadside attraction and photo opportunity. Close to Fairbanks so you really do not have to go out of your way. We combined it with our viewing of the Alaska pipeline. We had coffee and were on our way after taking photographs. No need for...More

We had high hopes, even if it would have been a tourist trap. There was nothing but a store and within the store, a coffee bar. Not worth the stop - really.

I thought this attraction was going to be a replica of Santa's house and workshop with elves, toys etc. It was far from it! Sadly, it is just a gift/souvenir store. It has lots of nice items but not what I expected. There was a...More

How often would you get a chance to live out a childhood fantasy of visiting Santa at his house? This is a really fun place to visit. Bring your camera and some spending money because you are going to want to take home a gift...More

Princess operates 5 lodges in Alaska. The closest one is in Fairbanks. From the Fairbanks lodge it is a 20-30 minute ride to the Santa Claus House. Taxi is very expensive, no ride share (Uber, Lyft). I believe the S.C. House... More
