    Christmas All Year
Wow, what a place to visit and shop. We spent hours and hours wandering through the store. Had some snacks while there and spent way tooooo much money on Christmas gifts for the family back home. Fantastic service by all the staff.

    Love Christmas? Go there...
If you love Christmas you must go here. It makes you walk around like a kid in a candy store. So much decorations everywhere and music playing in the background. It made me all happy. Funny thing is that the whole village of Northpole has taken over the christmas theme. Lampposts are all in red/white striping. Outside is a huge Santa Claus and even further on the premises a farm with rendeer.

Will give you the Christmas spirit!
You cant miss this store. So many nice Christmas decorations and Alaska gifts. Great staff too. When my wife realized that our souvenir ornament wasn’t in our bag a few hours later, she called and was helped immediately. The next day we stopped into retrieve it. Santa was the best! He made a video for our grandkids which they loved. Oh yeah, great Sweet Shop with good coffee too!

    Must see stop.
Loved it. Santa Claus was there and just made my day/weekend/week/month/year! He was so kind. He hugged me and talked to me when hubby told him I put up about 12 trees every year. He made a video to our granddaughters telling them to continue to be good and listen to those that love them. He WAS Santa. The store is wonderful. I purchased a lot of stuff and they shipped it back to Virginia where it was waiting for me when we got home. No trip to Fairbanks is complete without going to North Pole. It just puts joy into your heart. I may never make it back to North Pole, but this trip will forever live in my heart and memory.

If you want to see santa or christmas...
It was definitely unique. Very large store with food and ice cream inside. A lot of cute/funny shirts, Santa of course. Large oversized tree and sleigh outside for pictures but they could use some rehabbing. Reindeer also outside. Nice stop.

Antler Academy is the best part
It's fun, but wouldn't go way out of our way for it. Nice way to kill some time though. Santa's House is just a giant store with a sweet shop. It sells medium quality Christmas trinkets and decor, crafts, and general gifts. Santa is there all the time ready to visit with the little ones and he's very talented! We watched him do a video with a grandma to her grandkids on her phone and it was very charming. Staff will provide you with a little cup of food pebbles for the reindeer to nosh on. Much like us anywhere we go, the reindeer are there for the food. No judgement. They eagerly come up and start reaching for the cup and we just pour it into their mouths. They're very accustomed to doing this and it goes quite smoothly. The Antler Academy is the best part. They welcome guests into the pen with the reindeer caretakers. A quick safety tour covers details like "Don't grab onto their antlers," and other common sense pointers The staff are very well informed and are happy to hare their wealth of knowledge - if you ask. For the most part they stand back and let you enjoy the close encounter, but if you engage them you'll find they are most pleased to teach you about these interesting animals. We learned that a reindeer's four-toed feet have dewclaws, and that the entire hoof has evolved to spread out to distribute the animal's weight like snowshoes. They're also well adapted for digging in the snow.

    PERFECT CHRISTMAS GIFT SHOP
The gift shop has every kind of Christmas ornament you may want. They also engraved the ornaments on site for free. They have a small pastry shop. Santa is near the back of the shop and you can take pictures with him. There is a large outdoor pen for the reindeer. Everyone was friendly.

    It’s a gift shop
It’s a Christmas themed gifts shop. There were some unique ornaments that were Alaska made. I enjoyed this as I like to decorate my tree with ornaments from out family’s travels. Lots of things for the little ones like a visit with Santa or create a personalize letter, some of which were pretty funny.

    Nice gift shop
We really enjoyed the Santa Claus House. Large selection of ornaments. I purchased some ornaments as gifts this year that say North Pole, Alaska. The receivers can brag that they have an ornament from the North Pole. My husband purchased a hoodie/t-shirt combo at a reasonable price. He loves how soft and comfortable the hoodie is. The fudge was really good also. Worth a visit.

You have to go there, because it’s there.
It’s Santa Claus’s house in North Pole, Alaska. If you’re there in Fairbanks, you have to go. It’ll make you feel young again. Okay, it’s a tourist destination. But how often can you go there? The light poles in North Pole are candy canes. The house has everything you might want to buy. You can visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus when he’s working. He was off the day we were there, but we met him on the public bus. The bus driver stopped to pick him up on his way home. The bus driver took photos of us with Santa and the other people who were also going there. We went to the antler academy next door and fed the reindeer. Mailed postcards with the North Pole stamp on it. The ice cream is very good there. We took the public bus there. Free for seniors. It’s a check off the bucket list.

When I brought my hunny, my mom and oldest nephew here back in 2021 and 2022, they were excited to walk around, which is a cheerful and friendly atmosphere at anytime of year even in the middle of summer
My most recent trip there was in December of 2023, even though it was chilly my hunny and I went there for Christmas stocking stuffers the place was jumping with excitement

Hello! I am hoping someone can give me some suggestions for getting to the Santa Claus House in North Pole AK. We will be ending our land portion of our cruise in Fairbanks. We will be on a riverboat till 5pm that day. The next day we leave at 1:30pm for the airport. I'm really wanting to try and get here for just an hour, but the bus would take to long. How has everyone else gotten here?

This has to be the world's largest Christmas store!

We visited with Santa and Mrs. Claus, who created a special video just for our youngest grandson. I can only imagine his expression when he sees that Grandma and Grandpa are friends with Santa!

Santa's house is special. It contains a huge gift store with Christmas items collected from around the world. Needless to say, we left some money behind.

If you are traveling to Fairbanks, Alaska, you must plan to spend some time here. It's definitely worth the side trip.

Funny thing is I was hungry and nothing was open for miles, so stopped in to get something to snack on. They only had sweet treats, and I bought some for the office, and family, got myself a hot drink, and then went to go buy some winter clothing from the back of the shop. If you stop by, don't forget to snap a pic with the huge Santa outside. It was so dark I almost didn't notice it.

Visiting Santa Claus House and meeting him in person is not just every kid's dream. Even many grown-ups desire to do so. This wish of ours finally came true when we went to North Pole in Alaska recently. We did meet not just Santa Claus but also Mrs. Claus and have some pictures taken with them. However, there's much more to it than that. Santa Claus House is also a lovely souvenir shop where you can buy many Christmas gifts and items all year through. The staff are very accommodating and friendly. You also get a chance to interact with some reindeer nearby. For me, that's one way of keeping the Yuletide spirit alive anytime of the year. Lastly the place is very accessible. It's located just a few minutes away from downtown Fairbanks. 😀

One if the least pleasant experiences of recent memory. I went with my family to get pictures with Santa for our first Christmas with my 10 month old daughter. We knew it would be busy going the Saturday before Christmas, but we got our number and shopped around and waited for the pictures.

While in line my daughter became overly tired and stimulated.my wife held her up in the air and said her name to try to distract her and get her to calm down. The lady acting as “Ms.Clause” then looked over at her and said,” I hope someone ruins your picture like you just ruined this family’s picture.” My wife apologized profusely and said she was sorry if she had five anything to distract them. We even offered to let them have our turn taking the picture. Ms clause went on to continue to be rude to my wife, talk about how everyone had been being rude all day. We told Ms. Clause once again we were sorry, but there was no need to be run towards us. She then dropped the cherry on top of it all and said “are you going to take this picture or just continue to be a victim all day.” With that we walked away and decided to not get our pictures taken. I then went to the family who we had “distracted” and apologized. They told me that it was ok and they really did it don’t think we had done anything to distract them during their picture.

All in all, it was one of least enjoyable and more abrasive encounters I’ve ever had. Had Ms. Clause simply informed us she felt we were being distracting would have mitigated the whole issue, but instead she chose to instead yell at us instead.

All in all, it was a horrible experience and the only silver lining is that my daughter is too young to remember this.

I LOVE Christmas so I was super excited to go. I met Santa and got a photo with him and my husband. A bit weird because we are DINKs, but there was no judgment on not having little kids with us. Lots of neat Christmas and gift ideas to look at. Saw the nearby reindeer too. I would recommend stopping here if you like the holidays.
