This was a great excursion . The bus takes you to the site . They tell you there are 79 steps down to the water . They also have a van that will take you down to the water if you can't do the steps. They take you on a large covered boat , totally enclosed around the sites and... More

Huge, meaty, break the shells with your bare hands, and ask for more dungenous crabs - dip the meat in melted butter and go ah-h-h-h-h--h-h!. Having lived my adult life on the Chesapeake Bay I know a good crab feast and this one was over the top. Our waitress was super and made certain we had all we cared for... More

We took the George Inlet wilderness excursion and crab feast as an option while on a Holland America cruise in Alaska. Great choice! Although I understand the order of things varies, we started with a charming guide on our bus from Ketchikan to George Inlet. He pointed out various sights and told us stories of his growing up in the... More

We had this dinner as part of a tour. We went by bus. There's a lot of steps down to get there and then of course back up. I think they said 78 steps. We received drinks then a salad. Then the crab, all you wanted. They had a competition as to which table could stack up the most shells.... More

We booked this shore excursion through the company's website after it sold out through the cruise line. I am glad we did. Guide Asti and Captain Gilligan gave us a wonderful tour. Watched as she pulled up the crab trap, saw a bear and a bald eagle. Ate more crab legs that should be allowed by law. Topped it off... More

Our party of two adults took the Rainforest "hike" followed by the crab "feast." Superlatives aside, the hike was really an easy walk over well maintained crushed gravel trails and boardwalk and the crab feast was an all-you-can-eat dungeness crab dinner. Our rainforest guide was an extremely knowledgeable, personable, and humorous young man that kept us entertained and informed while... More

While on an Alaska cruise, we spent 4 hours being guided and entertained by a group of wonderful people. We initially were on a boat with about 24 passengers and 2 staff, Captain Gil and our guide Asti. They were terrific! Not only were they informative, but they were also humorous and entertaining. We saw a lot of wildlife, including... More

This tour was one of the highlights of our fabulous trip. The tour bus picked our party of six up on time right where our RC ship was docked and took us to the Alaska Rain Forest Sanctuary. A couple of us were a little apprehensive about the hike portion of the tour (bad hip, bad knee, etc), but we... More

We did the Wilderness Exploration and Crab Feed as a side tour while in Ketchikan on a Princess Cruise. The wilderness exploration was interesting, seeing and learning about the temperate rainforest. The crab feast was amazing - a demonstration on how to eat the crab then as much crab as you wanted to eat followed by blueberry cheesecake.
