The Visitor Center is in an attractive building and is a large space. It is a multifunctional facility. The desk person wasn't real friendly.

The cultural center is a very nice place to hold a large meeting which I was in attendance. To just visit as your sole reason or to wander through on meeting breaks, you had better have some time to take in the full benefit of...More

We arrived at 5minutes to closing...no problem for the host. She quickly helped us with information and directions to an RV park and a very good restaurant. We didn't have time to check out the exhibits, but what we saw was very nice. Thanks.

The visitors center shows the history of the Kenai Peninsula in a very good way. It is a self guided tour, with lots of interesting items to see. The people are very helpful.

Yes you can.
We are traveling from Anchorage to Seward in August. We are interested in visiting Kenai and flying to Juneau rather than return to Anchorage by train to fly to Juneau. So the question is, "How can we get from Seward to Kenai?"

The only way I know of is by road or charter flight (the latter being expensive). So if you take the train from Anchorage to Seward that would be about the only practical way to get back. I don't imagine any car rental... More
