We visited Mendenhall Glacier as part of a Princess Cruise. When we arrived at the visitor centre, the tour guide told us we had 40 minutes before we had to get back on board. We were very keen to do the c2 mile round trip...More

I love how easy the Glacier and waterfall are to get to. So much water. Really stunning setting. Great short trail easy for kids and elderly. I did the round trip from parking lot in about 30 minutes.

These falls are amazing you can feel the force when standing next to it. It is a 30 min hike on a well maintained trail.

Mendenhall glacier and nugget falls are done together. We took glacier shuttle . Short walk to see both.

At the end of a mile easy hike is this beautiful waterfall. So relaxing listening to this waterfall. It was well worth the walk.

Worth taking the time to visit as this is a very pretty location. There are hiking trails and there is no charge for visiting. Stop off here on your way to the glacier.

Definitely worth the short walk to the falls. Be prepared it is colder by the falls and glacier but it’s a very easy walk to get there.

We hiked about a mile through the provided marked hiking trails to the waterfall which is highly recommended to do before anything else. We also had the chance to walk really close to the waterfall base and to see the Glacier really closed. We went...More

It's a pleasant stroll to the waterfall. When we were there in late June there were lots of tourists. We headed off on some of the other trails and had them to ourselves.

Yeah you can take it, but you have to take it outside the cruise. Right there in the pier there some drivers that can take you over there.

Not sure, the park rangers are always there, seek their input before you hike. If they saw caution or if closed, listen to them!
