Open since 1967, our store is a locally-owned, Alaska Native family business in the heart of Downtown Juneau. There are two levels filled with beautiful handmade art from around the state of Alaska, much of it being made in the store. Native artists work on their art upstairs where visitors can watch and ask questions of them. We have everything from high-end art to more inexpensive items. We cater to every person, and love to share our knowledge!

They had a variety of things to shop for. Very helpful and great customer service. Recommend going to this shop before going to any of the others. Prices are good too.

It looks like a museum for northwest native craft (rivaling any legitamite one) but here every item is for sale. I have never visited any shop that has the depth and breath of merchandise that Mt. Juneau Trading Post has. The Tripp family is most...More

Packed with all sorts of locally made art from t shirts to totems (with native artists in shop working on new pieces). A store you have to check out when you are in Juneau!

This shop is a real gem. Stopped by after my cruise excursion. Nice family owned business and all sorts of treasures to be found. I sure wish I had more time.
