It's not often you get to see a humpback whale swimming right next to your boat. How fun. The are HUGE but quite graceful. On this trip we actually saw dozens of them and got the unlikely chance to see one breach.

We booked this excursion together with Mendenhall Glacier via Alaskan Shore excursions. The Glacier tour was nice; the whale watching was fantastic. Guaranteed whale watching; and you don't feel hurried. I'd do it again with them.

Both my wife and I are above average photographers with upper end cameras. With that being said, we booked this photo tour off a Princess cruise. We were not disappointed. Photo tours are usually less crowded and aimed more towards the photographers wanting some quality...More

I believe all the companies guarantee to see whales, but can be some luck as to what extent. We were very lucky - good calm sunny weather, a whale that breached the water probably confused by the weather thinking it was Hawaii. This particular tour...More

It was a great day. We saw a family of killer whales and many humpbacks! It was a beautiful sunny day and we were surrounded by whales!

Need to pick you date and time carefully. The boat is very crowded and you will be luck to spot a whale. Did not see much other sea life either. Did see a few sea lions. Don't take this tour if you expect to see...More
