Very nice building. Sit and relax with beautiful views. Just be sure to follow the rules, these librarians are strict.

This is the busiest place in town. Locals flow in and out with books and dvds. Visitors drop in to use a computer or the wi-fi or printers. Friendly staff, great sale book selection (25 cents each), and spectacular architecture and views.

This library has an award winning Storyboard Program highlighting Native culture and place names. A newly created game app lets users take iPads in the field to tell their stories and visit highlighted locations.

This place is clearly one of the hubs of the town. It was recently rebuilt in a beautiful interior woodwork with high ceilings. The tourists use it for the free wifi and to buy books before getting on the ferry. 25 cent books, you can't go wrong with all the proceeds to the library. stop by if you have some... More

The library is beautiful, and the staff is very open about offering free wi-fi to cruisers and tourists. It is a nice stop in a very nice town for a little break and some quiet, comfortable seating.

I grew up in Hanies and wish we had the library at this level when we did. This library was listed the #1 small town library in America a few years back. Very comfortable and great resources

The library looks like one from the urban places. I was surprised and spend good time there. They have room for kids, section for teenagers, public room where you can use free WiFi, and much more...But my favorite spot is outside! Peaceful place! Sun, trees, fresh air and not good wifi 😁
