I will systematically explain my experience with Glacier City Snowmobile Tours. Firstly when booking the tour, I was told that it was an easy, well groomed trail. I was also told that our tour included a rest stop where we could have hot chocolate and also later grilled hot dogs. So obviously I decided not to bring a snack. When... More

What a terrific time, even though in the town of Girdwood their was not enough snow on the ground. Up in the mountains it was gorgeous. The guides are terrific, they take you around several different areas of the mountain. They stop at an outhouse style hut to have lunch and hot chocolate, at this time you can walk around... More

My friend and I did the mine tour as the weather was not suitable for the real deal tour. What a great tour, my friend and I are 65 and 70 respectively and had such a great day. The lunch was hot dogs and tea. I was so pleased with the tea,I am not a fan of tea, that I... More

We did the afternoon tour the week of Fur Rondy. We reserved our spots about a month ahead of time and did ask for and receive an e-mail confirmation. The check in is in a gift shop. When it was time to "Suit Up"...it was somewhat crowded. We had brought many of our own items, but anywhere we were lacking,... More

It is the end of the season so maybe the lady behind the counter was tired. I arrived early having driven 375 miles. The place to check in is in a gift shop. I explained I was there for the snowmobile tour. She asked me who I was. Then said nothing else. So I asked if there was a bathroom.... More

Due to weather and traveling so late in season, we were limited on available tours. Everyone with Glacier City was very accommodating and guide was incredibly knowledgable. Snowmobiles were in great condition. We took gold mine tour which I would highly recommend to people new to snowmobiling.

This was definitely my favorite part of my trip to The Last Frontier. It took me a little while to get used to operating the snowmobile, but once I got the hang of it, I didn't want to stop. Absolutely incredible!! The scenery was breathtaking and that was before we even got to the glacier and rode next to icebergs.... More

We had wanted to do the blue ice glacier tour but there wasn't enough snow so it wasn't offered. We wanted to play on snowmobiles so we went on the gold mine tour which was a mistake. Essentially they take you around a trail loop 2-3 times over, with a stop in between for a caribou sausage lunch & Bon... More

If you love the outdoors, adventure, snowmobiling, and want to see a spectacular glacier... do this tour! Jesse was our guide and was awesome, friendly, personable, and super knowledgeable (despite being a Red Sox fan with 7 Yankee fans we had an awesome time). Total ride was 5 hours totaling 30 miles. The tour is through open fields, woods, over... More
