We found these gardens to be uninteresting because we walked by most of the pants and flowers on the main road to the entrance and most oter place on the island. They werent particularly well groomed and "the walk" took u less than two minutes. We paid $5 each to enter, not worth it. There's a cafe in the garden... More

Small but pretty. Not stunning though. Doesn't take long to get around. Parking difficult to figure out. Might be more interesting with a guide who can tell about the plants or their uses. Or some signage. Nice cafe on the property but I didn't eat there.

The licensed cafe is welcoming and always has a pleasant lunch available. The gardens are always a treat and whilst is great just to enjoy the lovely plants and flowers we've seen on previous visits, there is always something new to delight us.

Hey everyone, we had a trip to Marie Nui gardens & cafe. Wow the gardens are fantastic & our lunch was amazing. I had a paw paw salad & my husband had the tropical salad. Both were fantastic. The guy who served us was so friendly & welcoming to us. Entry to the garden is a donation, but well worth... More

The cafe has the best food on the island with most of the ingredients sourced from the garden. The staff are super friendly and the gardens are well worth a visit, even if you don't have a meal at the cafe. The flowers are beautiful!

A photographer's dream. Flowers, water droplets, birds, butterflies...worth the $5 donation. Have not eaten at the restaurant, but my cousins who live nearby tell me it's great.

This is a non-profit tropical garden which took over 20 years to establish (according to the owner of the cafe). The garden is full of colour and gorgeous so well worth the visit in spite of $5 NZD per person admission fee. Once you walk through the beautiful garden, you can sit down and have a drink or lunch at... More

You might not think that going to a botanical garden would be a highlight of a trip to a tropical island, since the whole island is so green and beautiful... but the couple of hours we spent here were some of our best-spent time on the island! The gardens are just breathtaking; you can tell that creating and caring for... More
