Some people writing here might have not gone to the top, because one actually cannot get there without equipment. We took this fun hike today north-south. It’s about 10 km from main road to main road and takes around 4,5 hours with a relaxed but...More

If you love to hike, the trail through the jungle to the Needle is a nice challenging hike, but not recommended just after a heavy rain. There are places where you will need to use tree roots for handholds & ropes that are provided, and...More

I loved this walk. Downloaded good instructions from a page I found on the internet. Started city side as most people suggest. The track like many say is rugged and muddy. It gets steep in parts but this didn’t seem to take too long. This...More

The hike was challenging not because of its degree of difficulty, but because of the condition of the trail. Truly natural. Well worth it though for a good view of the island from the top.

The hike, the view, everything was amazing! This hike was outstanding and climbing to the top of the needle (although scary) was so much fun! I wouldn't do it without a tour guide tho.
