This tiny island in Aitutaki's beautiful lagoon contains a post office and a single cabin that can be rented by visitors. Most visitors just come for the day to experience the tranquil location and to snorkel in the lagoon.

Sometimes, maybe even often, places with top reviews are not worth the hype. One Foot Island is. I am actually at a loss for words to describe it. Google the photos, find the most beautiful one and believe the Internet just this once, because this...More

This place is a REQUIREMENT when visiting Aitutaki! By far the most beautiful beach/island I've ever seen - a mix of white, blue and turquoise water that you can only see in postcards and Windows wallpapers lol

A glorious day out with Mona's Water Taxi services, hosted by Skipper Daniel. He tells the spiel about the island and superbly maneuvers the boat while offering all sorts of side trips should we have wanted them. We did visit the sand bar next to...More

Breathtaking location. picture postcard photos. We had a perfect day, visiting this island after a group tour, snorking with giant trevally, bigger than my kids! One foot island is a must.

It's too far IMHO to swim or kayak. We booked one of the lagoon boat trips which was great. DO go to One Foot island. It's a must!!!
