One Foot Island is a great soft sand island within the Aitutaki reef. It has a famous history and that is why it offers a passport stamp to those that have spent even a minute on the island. The water around One Foot Island is simply stunning!

As there aren't many birds it was great to see close up a colony of white terns. They were living in the bsh and weren't too bothered by us watching them.

The reason everyone wants to go here seems to be to get a footprint stamp on their passport and the island has a little (historically accurate?) story explaining its name. It is certainly a beautiful place but so are the rest of the 14 islands found in this gorgeous lagoon

We went on one of the cruises and had lunch here! Don't forget to take your passpirt and get it stamped and also the post office will mail it for you with a beautiful stamp! You can buy a postcard from the island if you forget to take one with you!

Most lagoon tours will land here so remember to take your passport to get it stamped. The views from this tiny island are amazing

WOW WOW and WOW. This island is so pristine and beautiful. We walked around the tiny island and you can swim nearly anywhere. The water is crystal clear and inviting. You can't help but want to swim. Don't forget you can get your passport stamped with a One Foot Island stamp.

We visited here as part of Vaka boat tour . Sea was so warm with sand bars you can walk to . The smallest post office will stamp your passports for two dollars and send postcards . A good day out for all
