The most beautiful lagoon in the world. Forget the Key's in Florida or Bali. These places has nothing on one foot island. True tropical island (a bounty island) Forget google and the pictures you see there. Go and experience it for yourselves. There are no words to describe the beauty of this little island. Blue sea, white beach. Palm-tree's sea-turtles.... More

While you are likely to be joined by other tourists here, the lagoon is gorgeous and absolutely worth a trip (plus getting your passport stamped at the tiny station there!). Everyone who sees our photos from walking across the sandbar thinks they have been color-corrected or filtered - but it's just that heavenly, no filters needed!

This is what paradise should look like. The beach is stunning, the vegetation is beautiful, and it is the best place I have ever been to that one can swim and really really enjoy it with the family. Best to go with a boat that includes fresh cooked fish on board, Worth every penny of it,

Saw giant clams in the bay , fish and the coral regrowth... More

It is DEFINITELY a 'DO FOR SURE' when you visit Aitutaki. Either go with a tour or get your own boat (just ask around for "Lovey" and she will get you set up). We went in 2000 and knew we would return - did in Dec. 2016 when in our late 60's! snorkeling still is awesome - the young lady... More

We stopped here whilst on a lagoon cruise and what an idyllic spot it is! We snorkelled amongst tropical fish from the beach and had lunch in the shade of the palm trees. We also had our passports unofficially stamped as One Foot Island visitors.

We had the privilege of visiting Obe Foot Island, and getting our passport stamped. It is everything you could imagine on a tropical island, lots of white sandy beaches, clear water and lots and lots of fish Another bucket list location
