Right between the two bays, Opunohu and Cook's (a little closer to Openohu). Easy parking along the roadside. Lots of sandy white beach and a great view with sailboats moored. Many local families. We noticed a little "pier" (only like 10' long, concrete steps). Used...More

We were wary of this beach when we parked because it was so close to boats but the snorkeling was great and the beach was wonderfully maintained. We saw so many sea creatures! It also had a great picnic area, ample parking, and I would...More

Waters like glass, the colours of the blue spectrum just blew me away. We hired a scooter, so spoiled our-selves to visit every beach we so wished each day. Loved this place. Felt like home. How spoilt are we!!

This is a beautiful beach to visit whilst there it is advisable to wear some kind of swimming/beach shoe as there are shells and stones which can cut your feet, but it is all worth it, the view is gorgeous and the water is fantastic...More

We came here specifically to snorkel one of the few public beaches on the island. Unfortunately, the coral has been hit pretty hard by overuse and there is algae covering nearly all the coral. However, I was surprised by the large fish population considering how...More

We were staying in an air bnb a few kilometres away and cycled here for a mornings snorkelling. Well worth a visit! If you swim beyond the shallower coral reefs the sea bed drops and you get a deeper better view! We saw a few...More

As with many beaches in Tahiti, this one is lovely and worth a visit. Water is very clear but believe there is quite a current so be careful. Disappointing that there are no toilets here.
