We drove up. It was an easy drive coming up from Haapiti. Pictures are stunning. We didn't do the hike as we had just come up from the beach at Oponuhu Bay. It's well worth it.
Stunning landscapes and sweeping view of the island's valleys and out to the sea. Tip: be adventurous and ask a guide to take you for a hike through the jungle to a hidden waterfall nearby.

Worth the trip up. Some of the most beautiful views on Moorea. Would recommend taking the trip on a scooter.
Not as spectacular as Magic Mountain but you can drive a rental car to this lookout. If you are driving around the island it is a worthwhile stop.
