This course is great! Loved it! Not the best maintained, but very very unique, and well worth the time and money. For most of our round, we were the only ones on the course. Tons of palm trees. Can see Papeete from some holes. Ocean from others. And ponds from others. Had a great time. No back pressure. Took our... More

While this is probably the worst maintained Nicklaus course it is still in decent shape. The bunkers are not maintained but the fairways and greens were good, and to me that is more important. I felt like I was playing a slightly above average muni. I think I paid about $160 and that included transportation rental clubs, cart, bottle of... More

I understand that the club has a new investor, and he's started work on renovating the course and club house. The changes in the club house are coming along fine, but there is a HUGE amount to do to make this course into the 'pearl' it deserves to be, especially at the price they are charging - €150 for 18... We wanted to say that we golfed in Tahiti. The course has a nice layout with holes that border the ocean and have beautiful views of the mountains. The staff was very friendly. Don't expect a resort coarse found in palm springs, but definitely expect the tropical, feel and beauty of a painting by Gauguin.

I played the Green Pearl in March 2016. Pickup from hotel is complimentary for 2 or more players, it was just me playing so i had to get a cab there (a cab from anywhere to anywhere is almost always USD$20). I thought that was fair enough. 18 holes was around USD$50 for green fees, i hired clubs (which were... More

To be fair I was informed that new management had just taken over and that positive changes were coming to the course . It is in awful shape with the course looking NOTHING like the pictures . The layout is fine but it needs a lot of TLC . Hope they give it the attention it deserves as it great... More

Jack should be ashamed to have his name on this venue currently. It's poorly maintained and appears to be a going concern. I had an awful experience at an expensive price. When I made my tee time, there were 4 groups on the tee sheet for the day. No one on the property, maybe one car in the lot. Positive... More

Played here in June when staying at the Intercontinental hotel. Booked directly with the golf club which was hassle free requiring only a credit card to book. Beatiful course up on the hill with wonderful view.

We played this great course on twilight condition and managed 14 holes. Some area around the holes is so picturesque that you may forget about playing golf. The first half is relatively easy going. But the second half in the hils is really it - playing up and down hill with great outlooks. Simply amazing and unforgetable. However, on some... More

This Nicklaus designed course was beautiful to look at, but not so great to play if you like really slow greens. Putting on the greens was like using a machete through the jungle, it was that thick! The price was steep, but the rental clubs were substandard--most knock-offs, the only decent rentals were Mizuno T-Zoids and Split Muscles. I got... More
