A random visit on a drive around the island of Tahiti led us to this very special FREE attraction. Beautiful landscaping with aterfll, ponds and a lovely nature walk.

It was attached to the Gauguin Museum which has been closed for a few years. Guide told us the Gardens are poorly maintained. The 2 turtles are still there but one had his leg severely injured by pit bull dogs and has never fully recovered....More

Don't waste your time. Most of the trees and plants lack description and the walking paths need work. Wasn't a lot to see. We were gone in 20 minutes

A very lovely spot near the Paul Gaugin museum to walk around. Lots of trees--bamboo, rhododendron, willows-- and even two Galapagos turtles. Need more descriptions of the trees and better walking paths.

Unlabeled, no maps provided, burning leaves in multiple areas and few flowering plants in this tropical paradise. The Galopodos Tortoise had both of his (her) front knees bandaged on enclosed in a pen. Not worth a free visit, let alone $7.00USD.
