Lovely park to see beautiful animals free in the nature, you'll live the rainforest in a very nice way and incredibly near by.

I have only ever passed through this park on the way to do whitewater rafting with Ríos Tropicales on El Pacuare, but it is breathtaking each and every time.

We visited the Braulio Carrillo park on our Aerial Tram tour; the view going up the mountain was simply incredible, not to be missed.

It is a well maintained and clean park where one can just walk about or just sit, relax, and chill out.

I only visited the Parque Braulio Carrillo by the side of the Barba Volcano. The road it is not that good but it has very nice trekking trails. It worth to visit it.

We totally missed the entrance to the park. There was no roadsign. Because the road goes uphill trucks go very slow. There are 3 lanes, but strangly enough always 2 lanes are going down and 1 up.

The park entrance is found just off highway 32. There are 3 trails, 2 of which are fairly easy to navigate and are roughly 2.5km combined, the third is 2.5km and the terrain is a bit rough in spots. It's not a very popular park...More
