Really nice place, just to go for a stroll and a picnic with friends or hang out with your kids in the beautiful wooden playgrounds. Also a good place to try out your kiting skills!

When we stayed at the Sabana Apartotel Norte we walked to the Park. It is a little scary crossing the streets in the area - I don't recall seeing many pedestrian cross walks so look for a light!

Large park. Told by "everyone" to not be caught there after dark, but never told why (zombies?). In daylight lot of people jogging, families, old folks, skateboards, etc. Also, location of national stadium.

Our hotel was close to this park and I wanted to see a little bit of the real San Jose. This park is definately somewhere where the locals go. There are multiple soccer fields for games, areas for picnics, a running track and velodrome. Powerade...More

I admit I didn't get too deep into this park but I did a quick lap of the southern portion and it was a nice little walk. Kids playing, runners running, a couple of cops patrolling, skateboarders skateboarding. There's a running track (maybe about 1/4...More
