Cool park, especially on Saturday mornings. Don't walk around here at night unless you want to get followed by some shady peeps (speaking from experience).

There are a few nice statues in the park as well as a WORKING fountain. One of the few we have seen around the Caribbean. People watching is good at times and there is a really neat mosaic on the sides of the traffic tunnel...More

Nice enough spot to people watch and sip a coffee. Park was busy with locals and tourists alike. Not a lot to see with regards to the flora, fauna or monuments.

A favorite place for me to walk downtown is through the cool shade of Parque España. I wish they would clean up the graffiti, remove the paint on the statues, and protect the porcelain tiles

Not much to say about it. It's a nice clean park, Good place to sit and people watch. That's about it.

The park itself is small and perhaps more interesting if you go late in the afternoon to bird watch. We were there late morning. It is bordered by Casa Amarilla - which you can not visit and the Music/Dance Conservatory - which you can not...More

Nice, but nothing that you can't miss. The square has a lot of bad graffiti, but the architecture is interesting and beautiful.

Was worth the visit. Very large park that is an oasis in a large city. The area nearby is beautiful!

This is a nice semi-large park in the middle of the city packed with trees and benches for you to sit. It is a great place to stop by on the way to other attractions. The museums and historic San Jose is all nearby.
