What a delight! We stayed at Casa Corcovado lodge and the trips into the park were just the cherry on top of a particularly special cake. We were so fortunate to have incredibly knowledgeable guides who had the eyes of eagles. Nothing was missed, from the smallest insects to birds, monkeys and small mammals all to numerous to list. An... More

Our 9 8th graders and 3 adults all agreed that this was our favorite place that we visited during our ten day trip. We hired Natura Seekers, a wonderful guide company, to take us by boat from Drake Bay Wilderness Resort. You have to land on the beach in between sets of waves and wade in from the shallow water.... Corcovado is hands down the best place in Costa Rica for people that love wildlife. There is no other place in the country in which you can experience wildlife in their natural habitat like you can do in Corcovado National park. There is plenty of options around for tours depending on your hike skill level and your budget. Corcovado is... More

We hired a guide to take us into the Parque and it was a wonderful hike! We saw Toucans, an Anteater, a ton of monkeys (Cappuccino and Spider) up close (like 5 feet away). We were disappointed that we didn't see the Tapir that had been spotted and we also didn't see as many birds as we would have liked... More

The most amazing experience walking through the rain forest with our guide Gary during our stay at Luna Lodge. We saw amazing animals and were even part of a Scarlet Macaw rescue.

Just see the picture. We saw a puma, among other animals (monkeys, osos hormigueros, pizotes, birds...), like 300metters from the entrance to the park

Compared to other National Parks in Costa Rica like Manuel Antonio the Corocovado NP offers a unique encounter with nature and animals. We did the datour to Sirena Station and saw: tapirs, coatis, peccaries, agutis, all types of monkeys, many different birds and spiders and even a crocodile.
