The trails aren't very difficult to navigate in the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve. The paths are well-maintained and easy to follow. Our guide gave us the choice of resting, or going another half mile to the falls. The falls were lovely, though, we saw them...More

Beautiful waterfall right in the middle of the forest trail. Stop and chill out here for a bit before continuing on.

Terraced cataract in the preserve. Walking paths are generally well maintained in the immediate area so an easy walk (reserve still recovering in some areas from Hurricane Nate's rainfall). Well worth the modest additional exertion

The water was so refreshing and our guide to get there was professional and accurate. They views and scenery to get there are just stunning. Would definitely recommend. Take a water camera and explore & have fun.

Easy to find, near enough to the entrance. Is very pretty and worth looking at whilst in the reserve, but doesn't compare to some of the others in Costa Rica.

This is a great waterfall right off the beaten path. We went during the rainy season and the trail was quite muddy but that was expected and made the short hike that much more challenging and fun!
