Our experience with Juan (and all of his guides, drivers, and staff) was AMAZING! Elliot with Costa Rica Custom Trips.com planned our whole trip (10 days traveling around Costa Rica) and he set us up with Juan and Manuel Antonio Expeditions for the days we were in the Puntarenas Province. They were prompt and on time for our pick ups... More

Our family enjoyed our visit to the national park. we saw a sloth with baby and white faced monkies and raccoons. We spoke to someone who was a guide at another park. He said that people continue to feed the monikies and that there now are many fewer monkies there and elsewhere. He also said that feeding a pregnant monkey... More

Juan Brenes, owner of Manuel Antonio Expeditions, gave us an excellent, informative tour of Manuel Antonio Park. He used a spotting scope and found many animals and insects that we would never have seen and then made photos on our iPhone through the scope! Thrilling. A great value for the service, convenience and care you will receive. Juan also provided... More

My three friends and I booked a guided nature walk through Manuel Antonio National Park through Hostel Vista Serena. The walk started at 830ish and ended around 11-1130am. I am so glad we booked a guide for this national park as we would not have seen 85% of the wildlife otherwise! Our guide was Henry and he had a telescope... More

Recently (Jan. 23, 2017) did this tour with Pablo Gonsalves. He picked us up in an air conditioned car; discovered he is from Toronto but has lived in CR for many years. We appreciated his knowledge and the ability to spot things that we would otherwise have missed. Cruising through the mangroves while listening to Pablo tell us about the... More

We went on a afternoon tour. Weather was perfect. We learned about the four types of mangroves (red, white, black and pineapple), saw common basilisk, turtles, capuchins, several bird species (whimbrels, stilt sandpipers, osprey, yellow-headed caracara, ringed kingfisher). Kids had plenty of fun. Our tour ended with sumptuous Costa Rican food at Paul's home. I highly recommend this tour. Our... More

We did the day time tour 2 years ago and had a wonderful experience. Different animals and monkies. THis year did the night time tour, guys on the boat took bright lights and would shine out in the water and mangroves. Saw a different variety of animals. THey even picked up a large bullfrog for a closer picture and got... More

Juan Brenes was a great guide who welcomed us upon our arrival to Costa Rica and helped us acclimate as he drove us to our accommodations in Manuel Antonio area. He made sure we were comfortable and arrived in time to catch the sunset on our first evening. On our way back to the airport he showed us an amazing... More

We booked this tour through our house concierge for our family group of 8. Paul/Pablo could not have been more wonderful. He was great with our two nieces 9 and 12 and a gracious host to all of us. This tour runs based on tides, so we started with lunch at his home, cooked by his lovely wife, Wendy. (I... More

My wife, twin 7 year-old sons and I joined Paul for a mangrove boat tour, which our concierge at Tulemar resort set up for us. We did this after already doing a Manuel Antonio NP tour, a jungle night tour, a Poas volcano tour and a 4WD rainforest tour in previous days. Paul picked us up at our vacation rental... More
