Pura Vida Gardens and Waterfalls is unique in Costa Rica. It is truly a "Visual Masterpiece". The gardens begin with the natural beauty of Costa Rica and four waterfalls in the property with spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean. To this millions of plants, flowers and orchids from all over the world have been added. Manicured walkways meander long a river and at the crest of the mountain which make the entire 50 acre gardens accessible to all. Have lunch in our restaurant and browse the gift shop that offers authentic Costa Rica gifts.

The gardens are manicured and wonderfully kept. We saw many birds including a pair of Macaws who were just beautiful! It was hot but they have a small gift shop that had cold drinks. The view is amazing- we loved it!

Beautiful garden and definitely off the beaten path. Lots of paths can easily spend 2 hours wandering around the grounds. My family of three only ones visiting on a Sunday afternoon. $20 / person.

These gardens are at the tope of a long dirt road about 8 km off Hwy 34. They are beautiful and well maintained but $20 per person is high for an unguided walk around. Beer at $3.50 way over-pricedMore

Hello, I will be going to Costa Rica this summer. It's my first time traveling out of the country. I want to be proactive and have everything planned out before arriving. The pharmacist I work with told me to visit this garden. Are there tours available? If so what are the prices? Can anyone recommend some things I must do while I'm there?
