Pura Vida Gardens and Waterfalls is unique in Costa Rica. It is truly a "Visual Masterpiece". The gardens begin with the natural beauty of Costa Rica and four waterfalls in the property with spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean. To this millions of plants, flowers and orchids from all over the world have been added. Manicured walkways meander long a river and at the crest of the mountain which make the entire 50 acre gardens accessible to all. Have lunch in our restaurant and browse the gift shop that offers authentic Costa Rica gifts.

Westie, Sorry you didn't totally enjoy the entire gardens. Your Cruise ship should have told you that it is the rainy season in Costa Rica and that the gardens were located on the highest mountain in the area. Hurrican "Nate" made the road bad. It...More

This is an 8 acre piece of private property on top of a very steep mountain. The master gardener did an amazing job of landscaping the place. We lucked in as soon after we arrived a light mist started to cover the gardens - so...More

The gardens are very well maintained and offer a variety of plants and flowers. The waterfalls are beautiful. Not advised for people who have a hard time walking. Stairs and steep inclines. I am glad that I got to experience it.
