Stop by the fruit stand by the river, and this tour was highly recommended. Met Jason, who was so knowledgeable. As we walked toward the boat, he pointed out the macaws eating almonds in the almond tree and went into more depth about the birds....More

If you love wildlife, this is a must do if you are anywhere near the area. If you're further away, and can drive, then do so. The crocodile part is amazing but so is the incredible amount of birds and other animals to see. Best...More

This boat trip up the Tarcoles river was great and our guide nearly had his arm bitten off by a crocodile. Amazing. There were lots of birds and we even saw a few monkeys.
