We did the chocolate tour and found it very interesting. It taught me a lot about the chocolate industry and the passionate owners efforts to make Costa Rica renowned worldwide for quality, organic cacao. The chocolate tasting with added flavours of our choice was an obvious highlight! Very enjoyable.

We took the tour and while it wasn't perfect, in our opinion, we would recommend. Paul, our guide and owner, knows his stuff. As we ascended a sometimes steep forest lane surrounded by cacao trees, he shared with our group the story behind his journey of becoming a passionate chocolate producer, which was inspiring. He also shared the many steps... More

Had the breakfast with lots of fruit and tasted the chocolate samples and tried the coffee and hot chocolate and tea and they were good. The menu was very simple for food but was good.

I don't see the coffee as anything special as I got great coffee everywhere but the latte was only Luke warm and bland. They have an amazing variety of excellent chocolate - kept inside a refrigerated area. You can pick which variety to have in your drink. I would just recommend the Americano with a chocolate bar of your choice.

This place was my favorite in PV! I was in PV for a 200YTT (Yoga Teacher Training) and CCC was down the road I lived on. The WiFI here was the best I found in all of the town and the Cacaois bar far the best as well (they have an entire walk-in freezer of samples). While I was in... More

One of the BEST cups of coffee I've had in Costa Rica! Rich, bold, savory and strong - just the way I like it! Enjoy your caffeine kick with a side of chocolate, made from locally sourced, organic cocoa beans. Free samples in the tasting room make it hard to pick just one bar to take home. Sweet stop along... This is the place to go for a good coffee in the area. Great atmosphere and the cortados were great. Tried a baked treat daily along with a fantastic fruit salad and sandwich. Staff are welcoming and we chilled and read for an hour or so. There are a variety of searing options from high stools to a couch /bed,... More

We were walked through every step of the chocolate making process, from bean to bar! We tasted the cacao fruit and the seeds along the way, as well as different chocolate bars and an array of chocolate with unusual flavorings, like garlic, vanilla, and soy sauce. I balked at the price a little because I'm a poor student but I... More

We were not sure about this tour and came out very happy we decided to do it. You'll come out of the 2 1/2 to 3 hour tour knowing more than you ever expected to know about cacao and chocolate. We understood the process from cocoa tree and pod to the bean and then from bean to a chocolate bar.... More
