This rainforest has everything from zip lining, butterfly habitat, snakes and frog exhibits, hiking, and an areal tram! The zip line was high up with great views of the rainforest. The frogs were awesome! The butterflies were tranquil and the tram was scenic and relaxing! The facility was very clean and well maintained! The guides were knowledgeable and friendly

As soon as your cruise ship docks and you are ready to go, we are picked up outside the gate. Half an hour later, on dirt roads we drive into a rainforest preserve. Wooden decks( first class) take us in where we paid $76.oo per person. Then we go down a ski lift carriage down to the small river. You... More

The park offered zip lines and a tram plus a number of educational venues. Attendance was by reservation only although we were granted an exception when we showed up at the Park. In fact, the Park's main customer base is cruise line passengers. We were offered ticket prices for the Tram that included access to the educational venues for $99... More

Our guide, Roxana, and our driver, Manuel, were absolutely fantastic! Roxana was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and energetic. Manuel was a fabulous driver and got us to our destinations safely even through the heavy rainfall when he was driving to get us to the rainforest. We also stopped at a fruit stand and tasted the delicious local fruit. We stopped at... More

We did the Veragua Rainforest Zipline as a cruise ship excursion. The air conditioned bus picked us up at the Port and we drove for about an hour to get to our destination . It was Sooo worth the travel. I had never been zip lining before but their staff gave excellent instruction and made everyone feel comfortable and secure... More

We were met with highly knowledgeable guides who took us into the heart of the mountains jungle of CostaRica. The tour consisted of travel by bus, tram, and foot trail, as well as a 14-course zip line. It was fun, adventurous, and educational. I recommend it for the entire family, old and young alike.

Our guide Jorge (porto limon tours) organized the rainforest tour with Eric, who is working for the Veragua Rainforest Park. We spent 3,5 h with him and realized how exciting frogs and toads can be. We learned so many interesting things about these animals! Eric explained everything, showed us plants and animals we would not realized without that wonderful guide.... More

This is a wonderful place to visit, especially if you are interested in seeing the kind of work that is being done to care for this special place. Our wonderful guide explained that they are excited to have the opportunity to have children visit so they will start early to be aware of the plant and animal life that is... More

Via a cruise ship customer service, we ordered a bus trip to Veragua Rainforest Park from Puerto Limon, Costa Rica. The gravel road was very bumpy. Once there it was an orderly organization where we were divided into groups. The guide showed a number of interesting stations in this rainforest area that contained a varied fauna: frogs, snakes, butterflies, birds... More
