My family and I took this tour a couple of days ago. We all found it very informative and fun. The 2 guides we a bit slapstick but overall it was fun. Don't drink too much coffee on this tour or you won't sleep that night.

Although this is not a real coffee plantation, you get good information on the overall process. You can't please everyone - there are some who would prefer the plantation experience and some who want to get the cliff notes version. Nonetheless, this was a good tour. The tour guides kept the audience engaged with their role playing, but were able... More

Did a four-hour tour at one of their coffee plantations where one goes thru the end to end process from planting the seeds to tasting the coffee. Very well conducted tour with excellent tour guides. They work in tandem and do a great job. They have a well stocked store with variety of coffees and chocolates. Delicious...

Short ride from Alejuela (SJO airport area). Funny and engaging bi-lingual (Eng/Span) guides give a very rehearsed comedy routine during a walking tour through their roasting and packing plant. This is *not* a plantation, but they do walk you through a demo area with stages coffees go through to give you the feel of a plantation. Guides give very accurate... More

We had a good learning experience around coffee at the Tour, the guides ran a combined tour in Spanish and English with a lot of passion and humour. Only about 30-40 min from central San José

The tour is great and you learn a lot about coffee, they make it fun so you learn. The food is also great and Britt is one of the best coffees in Costa Rica, you will find several types of coffee to go.

I had read many of the reviews before going on this excursion so I had an idea of what to expect. I repeat what many have said that this is not a real plantation. Instead it is a facility that buys and roasts and sells coffee from 2000+ Costa Rican plantations. The tour was quite long and at times dragged... More

We loved learning about how coffee is grown and we loved the tour guides and their touch of comedy that they brought to the tour. They offer tours with or without lunch. We opted for the lunch and it was ok but I was disappointed that the coffee was not included in the meal but you had to purchase separately... More

I booked this because I had a spare day, I would suggest getting there early before the tour to have a wander round I enjoyed about an hour simply taking photos of the beautiful gardens and the butterfly enclosure. The tour itself lasted about an hour and a half and the guides were great. I was actually the only English... More
