We stopped in as we were walking down the beach. Interesting art and a proprietor who will take time to show you his work. South on the beach about ten minutes from town. Nice destination for an outing.

Jaime's gallery is an oasis you will never forget. His art expresses a lifetime of thoughts, revelations & insights into the human form. It's whimsical, serious, beautiful & everything in between. We count down the days until our return trips to Samara where we can sit & talk & share life with Jaime, a great artist & teacher.

Every trip to Samara, Costa Rica Koss's Art Gallery is on our list of "musts" in places to revisit. The legendary Koss might be in his art gallery/living tiki-like space or he may be taking a walk steps away on the beach...if he is on the beach, we simply wait for him to get back! His art is soulful and... More

Rich bold colours. I only brought one of his paintings home. Wish I'd bought more. The art is affordable so it's worth the short walk to his gallery.

Jaime is a very special person. He spent time with me and my daughter (a young artist), sharing stories, thoughts, and the story of how he arrived at this point in his life and artwork. He has such a positive and thoughtful outlook, and it's really a gift to spend time talking with him. We purchased three paintings (they are... More

We saw the art but we really enjoyed meeting and talking with the artist, who is fluent in English (had lived in the states) and was intelligent and thoughtful.

We stop by to say hello to Koss on all of our visits to Samara. He is a native Costa Rican who has lived all over the world. His art is easily recognizable and unique. We have 4 pieces in our collection hanging on the walls of our home in Atlanta. Koss is a rich part of all that is... More

Two years ago I bought two pieces of art from Jamie Koss....I have one piece in my office and one piece in my home...They are bright and full of life and I just love to look at them and also think about my time in Costa Rica. These were great pieces of art to bring home.
