Our catamaran tour starts at Flamingo Beach where our professional, friendly and experienced crew welcome you aboard. Breath in the refreshing Pacific Ocean breeze while being served refreshing drinks by our attentive crew. You will be sailing along the golden coast of Costa Rica where you have the opportunity to see the vast marine life the area has to offer (dolphins, whales, turtles, rays and more). The captain will take you to a crystal water point where you can play in the water, snorkel with a guide or individually to explore the reef, kayak or relax onboard the boat . After, we will restore your energy with a delicious tropical midday meal (gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options are available). This sunset catamaran cruise by Lazy Lizard Sailing was awesome! Erick, Juan, and Nico were super accommodating and didn't let anyone go without having what they needed whether that be a drink or some delicious food. You could snorkel, kayak or SUP at the cove we anchored in, then we were treated to a gorgeous sunset on the way back in to the dock. I highly recommend this trip if you want a beautiful afternoon on the sea with some super fun guides.

The catamaran and snorkeling was the highlight of our trip. Even though visibility was low due to rough waters that day we sailed to a beautiful, remote site and from our boat saw the most stunning manta rays, blow fish and views of tiny little islands and mountains. The crew was attentive, friendly and made the trip that much more enjoyable. Towards the end they served delicious tacos, salad, fresh fruit. This trip is a must!!

My husband and I both loved this! The catamaran was very nice and the staff was beyond attentive! They always made sure we had a drink in our hand and frequently checking in with everyone! We loved them! We stopped by a beach to swim which was lovely and the lunch was also great! 10/10 recommend!!

What a fantastic trip with a wonderful attentive crew. We thoroughly enjoyed the boat ride, snorkelling with a great guide, amazing food (tacos, salad, brownies), drinks on tap and we saw a humpback whale and dolphins whilst sailing. Finished by watching the sunset sailing back. An unforgettable experience on a great boat. Travelled with my family (children aged 14 and 12), one of our best Costa Rica holiday experiences. Not to be missed.

There were 3 families (11of us) joining the others on this fantastic catamaran. The drinks were delicious and plentiful, tacos amazing, very fun staff, great music, beautiful sunset, and refreshing snorkeling/floating with a noodle experience! Would definitely sign up again.

We had a great time on our Sunset Cruise. The crew was excellent, very pleasant and helpful, and kept everyone happy with food and beverages. They picked us up at The Westin on time, and delivered us back after the excursion. The snorkeling was not good due to the rainy season, but there is nothing anyone can do about that, and we still had a great time hanging out in the water and on the catamaran. The sunset was beautiful! I would definitely recommend Lazy Lizard Sailing.

This was a wonderful excursion, Lazy Lizard Sailing provided a great experience! The cruise, snorkeling, food, and drinks were top notch. The sunset cruise to end the excursion was also great! The service was amazing, with the crew making the whole experience unforgettable. Overall had a phenomenal time!

Today, January 18, we went for the first time and I would tell you that I would repeat 100 times Josue and company of very friendly, polite boys, 100% attention
Because I would repeat my husband's question 100 times...because the place, the landscape, the sunset and we had the beautiful company of 3 whales, it was spectacular where Captain Josue took us as close as possible and it was a spectacle that I almost couldn't see. the sunset for filming the whales but I congratulate them for the staff and their food and drinks, all excellent

We had a good time on the Lazy Lizard. It was a lovely sail. The food was good and the drinks were plentiful and tasty. The crew were great! We had a great sunset too. If that was what we had as a goal, it would have been everything we expected.
But unfortunately the thing we were looking forward to the most was snorkeling and that part was disappointing. Our snorkel spot was pretty but the water was very murky. Three out of six of us had leaky masks. We are experienced snorkelers so it wasn't a matter of not properly wearing the gear. There had been a lot of rain recently so we expected some murkiness, but between the leaking mask and stirred up water I personally didn't see a single fish. So I was done after about five minutes. Others in my family saw some fish, the guide brought starfish up to see, and one in our group was lucky enough to see an octopus. But maybe there was a better location we could have gone to with clearer conditions? I wish we had brought our own gear.
If you want a nice catamaran sail with endless drinks, I highly recommend it. The tour wasn't overcrowded and we enjoyed the birds diving for fish around the boat.

I am so sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your trip with us. This season has been unpredicably rainy and as you stated, this has effected the clarity of the water but we are happy to say it is definately clearing up. If ever you have a 'faulty' equipment please let our staff know so that we can exchange it for another set. We bring plenty extras to be able to adjust for size etc. I truly hope the rest of your trip was enjoyable and would love to see you again when the weather is better.

The sail and sunset were beautiful. The boat is clean and the staff are funny and make sure to keep drinks full. The drinks, by the way were amazing. Some people definitely got rowdy so maybe not the best tour for younger children, but as a group in our 20s we didn't mind.
Unfortunately the boats are jammed packed. Like, difficult to find room to sit packed.
The food was good but made about half of our party sick. Chicken tacos were fine, it seemed to be the people who ate pork that got sick. It lasted for several days after... But the aftermath was NOT as enjoyable. If you choose to be brave and try for yourself, at least try the hot sauce, it was pretty bangin.
Snorkeling was nice, not a ton of wildlife to see where we went but hard to complain about a tropical snorkel. Lots of fun toys (floating mats, paddleboard) as well.
Not true "sailing", mostly just motoring around the bay, but again, how do you complain about that?
Overall, if you're looking for a luxury, romantic sail, this is not it. You get what you pay for.

Our trip was all adults but a few were non drinkers. It’s not a “booze cruise” as there were only 15 people on the boat. I think a 9 year old would be fine. The boat ride itself was fun and we saw several dolphins. The snorkeling/kayaking area was beautiful and you can just swim or hang out on the boat. The food was delicious too!
