Around the Fortuna area there are many hot spring locations. Some are on hotel grounds, some of them are even free - you can just walk to them and enjoy. At Eco Termales, you pay a premium in order to feel pampered. You can choose...More

Spent 5 hours here today and could have happily spent more time lounging and splashing about. Good selection of pools from hot to cold, nice features like waterfalls and lounging stones to spend time on, plus nice cocktails and excellent food - it's worth paying...More

The hot springs are awesome. They are warm & invigorating. The setting is lovely. We spent 3 hours here & had a great time. The dinner was dreadful. It was a buffet & everything was overcooked & bland.

The Eco Temales Hot Springs was a very relaxing expericence that visitors to Costa Rica should not miss. The guests start at the bottom where the water is the coolest and gradually work their way up to springs that are warmer. There are rocks for...More

Great location with a variety of pools of different sizes and temperatures. My husband and I really liked the pool all the way to the right - it had small volcanic-like rocks instead of a hard floor, and the water came directly from the source,...More

We went to Eco Termales for the 5pm slot, which was brilliant. I'm not sure how anyone can say this place is small - there are numerous different pools and a large restaurant area where you can choose what time to go for dinner. The...More

We reserved the 5 pm time slot - thanks to all the Trip Advisor Reviews recommending this time. It was not over crowded and very enjoyable. The food was adequate and the bar staff very friendly. Great for couples or families with older children. The...More

Engulfed in jungle, this lush, serene hot springs is perfect for relaxation...Unless you arrive at the same time as three bus-loads of drunk twenty-somethings that mistook Eco Termales pools for a crappy Vegas pool party (frisbees?!). We went on a Sunday night with a 5pm...More

I genuinely liked this place but it was small. They say they limit it to 100 people per time slot but that number would make this place over crowded in my opinion. We probably had half of that while we were there and even that...More

This is our second visit to the Eco Trembles Springs. We had visited two years ago and liked it so much we had to go back. We love the natural setting of the springs. Many renovations have taken place since our last visit. A new...More

Whilst you can buy alcohol there it's really not a party type place. V wry relaxed and people tend to keep themselves to themselves.

Not swimming deep. The deepest point in any seems to be less than 5' and most are much less with gentle slope from all sides. I don't swim either and never felt in any danger.
