It's a very exiting place to visit, the tour in general is great, besides tourists guides are too kind. The restaurant (Cajuela) is delicious and the time spend there was amazing 👌

We toured the Doka Estate witha small group. Our guide was fantastic! He was so knowledgeable about the coffee process. He started from the very beginning - seeds - and walked us through the growing and picking process, Had no idea coffee was so involved. We then went through the manufacturing process - another eye opener. The equipment there was... More

We did this tour with Sarchi and Grecia. The Doka plantation was the highlight of the tour. We did not have much time there. I would have liked to have spent some time and seen the butterfly gardens and other parts of the plantation. Lunch was great.

I have been a tour guide for several years in CostaRica and by far I think this is a great Coffe tour since it is a educational and learning experience and not only a comercial marketing tour, still I think the price of their coffee could be better for the clients that do their tour I still think is a... I've been to many coffee plantations around the world and this was the most comprehensive of all. While I do not drink coffee it was interesting to see the very labor intensive way coffee is harvested and then processed. If you drink coffee after the tour you can taste several types and as much as you want. If you are... More

LOVED this tour! My mom and I expected a broad overview of coffee making and a quick coffee sample, but were surprised to have a highly knowledgable guide who talked extensively about how the plants are bred and grown and how the coffee is developed. I don't remember his name, but he clearly had studied these topics and hadn't just... More

We visited the coffee estate on our own, not part of a tour. Pretty easy to find as there are many road signs to show the way. It costs $22 for adults but we got a discount for our 15 year old 12 year old ( bring student id's!). We just showed up in time for the 2.30 pm tour... More
