Get ready to relax and leave it all behind. Tabacon is a beautiful resort in the middle of the rainforest. It is a sanctuary after a day of hiking, or any adventure. It's also a place to just stay and unwind. If you like quiet and want to be in a cabana, find the Shangrila part of the resort. You... More

Ever fancied bathing in hot rushing water in beautiful gardens, sitting under hot waterfalls just a moments walk from a fine restaurant? If so then you have to go to Tabacon. We stayed in the water till after dark, it's beautifully lit and even though there are plenty of other guests, it feels very uncrowned. Dinner was excellent with a... More

Tabacon was one of the highlights of our entire trip. The setting is so romantic and beautiful! We were there for a full day pass in January (did not stay at the hotel). I had read that the springs can be crowded, but that was not our experience at all. It was an overcast day with occasional light rain, so... More

We decided to splurge on Tabacon Hot Springs after hiking the hanging bridges the day before. We purchased the day pass with buffet lunch. They have certainly landscaped the hot springs beautifully and created numerous pools and falls that make lounging in the thermal waters a special experience. The lunch was good. The only negative is the high price, but... More

Multiple tiered pools each with varying temperatures. Some small and more personal others larger and fairly populated. Due to the natural lava rock on each pool bottom you need to be award that water shoes may enhance your experience.

We did the night tour with dinner. I booked it for the night we got in from a long, long day of travel to Costa Rica. It was the highlight of the trip and certainly was so appreciated by our bodies. You walk around the different hot springs pools and go in and out like "rides at an amusement park".... More

The hot springs are in a beautiful, natural setting with pools surrounded by tropical trees and plants. There didn't seem to be too many visitors on the day we visited so we had plenty of privacy. The spa treatments are world-class, with a variety of massages carried out in outdoor cabanas. 100% recommended.

A wonderful place to end a vacation. There are multiple pools with varying temperatures which relax away your aches and pains from all your activities. You leave very relaxed. Beautiful grounds. We did an evening tour here with a buffet dinner. The food was decent with lots of options.

Peaceful and in tune with nature. The various water temperatures are relaxing. The nature settings are interesting. The restaurant has very healthful food which is so good. This is a place you do not want to miss.
