Amazing stay and indeed better than the photos!
We were pleasantly surprised at how amazing this hotel was! We stayed here for 3 nights and have no bad things to say, apart from the lack of veggie options at the evening meal. There were only one or two and they weren’t fantastic, so we ate out most of the time. But all in all, amazing pools and views, great room, perfect location for exploring La Fortuna (if you have a car) and we recommend the cafe/bar overlooking the volcano!

    Paradise for a day!
We had a wonderful day in Paradise. The name says it all. Warm hot spring pools( Not crowded) great lunch. Our server Guermo was very attentive and the food was authentic Costa Rician. We also enjoyed a 60 min sheepish massage what a great day! If you are in LaFortuna skip the fancy expensive places and come for a great relaxing time here at Paradise.

Excellent Natural Hot Springs, Skip the Meal
Went to Paradise after a day of white water rafting. Perfect end to the day to just relax and warm our muscles. Went with my family (parents + 2 kids ages 12 and 9). They had pools of various warm to hot temperatures. There was a swim up bar, and kids had a great time. We chose the day pass with meal and likely didn’t need the meal. It was a buffet style - decent food, good variety but not excellent. If you’re looking for a more rustic and natural feeling hot springs, this is the place. It doesn’t have that posh feel, which is exactly what we were looking for.

Skip the line Paradise Hope Springs day ticket
We had a great day relaxing at the hot springs. We had been warned it gets really busy and maybe we were just lucky but it was perfectly fine! We got there just before opening time at 11am and stayed till about 2pm. The pools were lovely and clean apart from a few leaves that fall during the day. All areas were spotlessly clean but special mention must go to the bar area at the back with the most fabulous views of the countryside with an uninterrupted view of the volcano - superb.

Date night at the hot springs
We had a room for the night and liked the space and the safety of it all. Large rooms and helpful staff. At night the hot springs were perfect for soaking and star gazing after a long day of exploring.

Beautiful hot springs, buffet less than great
My wife and I spent an evening at Paradise Hot Springs on a day pass. It was absolutely relaxing, beautiful, and refreshing. The only thing we suggest is that you do NOT get the buffet dinner. It was underseasoned and overcooked and definitely the worst meal we had in Costa Rica. The swim up bar has a bunch of “snack” options that could definitely be whole meals - highly recommend doing that instead (it’s also cheaper!).

We decided to stop by at this hot spring based on the good reviews. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed . There are two big pools and a few small ones attached. There was work being done on of them which they didn’t mention on the webpage. The place itself needs updating and you can see it in different areas. I guess most of the reviews were done by visitors who were on tours and got there in the evening. Definitely it not worth the $43 entrance fee.

A nice hot springs place with two large size hot spring pools, and 6 smaller size pools ranging in different temps. The large pool when you first enter is near a bar where there are seats, and plays various Latin music with videos on their TV screen. The large pool in the back is more quiet. My favorite was one of the smaller hot springs all the way in the back where the waterfall provided me a well-deserved massage after a long day of hiking. We got the dinner option with the hot springs entrance, and it wasn’t worth it! There was very limited choices of food (white rice, pasta which was very bland, steamed veggies, three choice of meats which were all very bad, two choices of juices which weren’t good, and some cake). There was no fruit offered for dessert, and the entire dinner was disappointing. Go there for the hot springs, but skip the food there.

We went to this place for the evening for the hot springs and dinner.
We would recommend skipping the dinner option altogether as the buffet food was not great quality, not well cooked and not very tasty and also with no alternatives for vegetarians/vegans.
The hot springs were warm and relaxing and mostly full of young American tourists.
The changing rooms and locker facilities were dated and tired. The cocktails were nice but on the expensive side.

Went here today as part of the tour and was able to get into the hot waters in different areas and then an area that even had cold water as well. Very Unique Experience!

My family and I have been in Costa Rica for the last week, our time here has been nothing short of amazing. We have had the best service everywhere we have been in Costa Rica. We decided to do a tour of the volcanoes and hot springs. We arrived at the Paradise Hot Springs after a perfect day of excursions and a tour of the volcano. The hot springs and the resort are beautiful; so beautiful that we were considering staying here on our trip to Costa Rica next year. However we had a very bad experience at the main swim up bar- The bartender was very unpleasant. He was very passive aggressive, rude, and disrespectful not only to us but to everyone else sitting at the bar. We kindly reported the issue to the front desk lady and asked that the complaint be passed to management. We attended the resort on 04/24/24 between 3:30-5:30 PM. My entire family works in the service industry and we were shocked at the way the bartender treated us. We will not be staying here for that reason alone. For such a beautiful resort it is a-shame that they would employ someone with that level of service. He ruined the vibe for the rest of our night for no reason whatsoever.

The pools were amazing as well as the property! We would definitely visit again! I would not probably do the food package again as the food was quite simply bad. We ended up having to go get something else to eat after we left as we didn’t eat much of anything there.

We came here between tours to just relax, enjoy the warm pools and chill out. The view from the coffee bar was amazing and they have a great range of snacks and a super coffee machine. Great facilities and it wasn’t overcrowded.
