Stumbled on this gem - and had a great day there with the kids. There was a wandering garden with butterflies (all be in they are in an enclosed area - not flying around freely). There are alligators and turtles and frogs. The pools were lovely and the waterslides were a blast. Beware the hot pool attached to the swim... More

Don't spend your money on the expensive hot springs. This one has many waterslides, jacuzzi chairs, waterfalls, private party pool, cooling pools and different temperature heated pools. We had an absolute blast and didn't feel like we compromised our experience in any way. Very clean and well kept. $15 for the day was a great bargin.

We couldn't leave Fortuna without time at a thermal pool but couldn't face the $50-75 price tag. Los Largos was a perfect solution. My wife took the $50 canopy package - 13 zip wires covering 3km whilst I paid $15 to access the thermal pools and the rest of the grounds (crocodile zone, gardens, butterflies etc). Staff were friendly and... More

We are traveling on a budget but wanted to spend a day relaxing in some hot springs. We read many reviews of the other hot springs and people quoting all different prices they paid. We walked to the hot springs area (do able but not enjoyable as its on a main road and doesn't have a path) and checked out... More

This was our first hotel in CR. Everything about it was very good, especially the food. It was a perfedct place for viewing the volcano and for visiting the La Fortuna Waterfall. AnywhereCosta Rica also arranged a very interesting float trip on the river where we saw lots of wildlife.

This Place is Heaven, however, I still prefer The Spring Resort & Spa, the view from there is far more beautiful and the thermal waters are 100% from the Volcano.

We went to the hot springs which were included with zip lining. The resort is really nice and the pools were great for all of us. Lots of water slides for the kids. Be warned there are no lifeguards so keep an eye on your young ones! There are something like 7 different pools for hot springs - some big... More

15$ for this?! IT'S AMAZING! It has a magnifique view of the volcano! Clean. Good attention from lobby to everything. And if you choose the buffet it's 28$ totally... well you can take your snacks or from the cart, it has a lot of pools and a bar, toboggans... uff amazing!! Clean bathrooms, conclusion: 100% recommend

I couldn't have been more pleased with my visit to zip line here (far more intriguing to me than the pools). The crew led by Antonio (great English!) was energetic, supportive and extremely pleasant to spend time with in the trees. This trip exceeded my expectations as it was a small group of only 7 of us and 6 guides... More

The hotel room was only average, but they were able to get us a room over New Years without a reservation.
