Far above our expectations! It was interesting to see the love and devotion of the coon dog owners in keeping the cemetery neat and decorated. First time we saw pennies on tombstones. Had to google the meaning.

It is interesting to see how many hunters valued their dogs enough to have them buried here. It is way out in the country, and our group also visited the Rattlesnake Saloon which was in the same area.

Beautiful route to get to the graveyard. So many dogs there. Was very interesting to read the register book and see how many people came there and where they are from.

Took our grandkids and they loved it as much as we did. Reading the epitaphs will tug at your heart. Any animal lover will really enjoy walking through and reading them. Well worth the visit.

The road seems a bit long and winding, traveling through pretty hills, but it is worth it. The epitaphs at the cemetery will pull at the heart-strings of dog lovers especially. Wish I knew the significance of the coins placed on the graves. New outhouses...More
