Old battle ground for the civil war. A lot of history in this 2000 acre park, large Live Oak trees. The guy at the office was very informative about the park. Good Job,

We had a good walk around the park and battlefield information boards. There is a boat tour some days. But wasn't running the day we visited. Very quiet not many people about but was a storm brewing up so that could have been a factor.

We love going to Blakeley Park! We always find somewhere new to read and learn as well as enjoy the beautiful scenery. They take great care of the Park and the facilities on their property. It's such a neat place to go explore!

We visited with our dog. Many areas for walking and exploring. Be sure to see the hollowed out tree. Wish there had been more plaques explaining the area.

This is a beautiful, secluded park that has a great open field for group camping. The bath house was a short drive/walk from the camp spot which is great for camping with kids. There is also the option to rent a port-a-potty for those emergency,...More
