Decent park; well done

Loved it, super fun and interactive. There is a lemur island that they roam free, bring bananas (they love them)

Hot day so most animals inside the cage. Animals weren't as active as expected and inside cages didn't have a lot of stuff for animals to play with. But for a china zoo ... Not bad. Ticket price at time of this review was 130

We went on a Sunday, and it wasn't nearly as crowded as most attractions. We took the metro and walked, which is doable, but rather stupid in summer when it's entirely too hot. We arrived a little before nine and stayed until two, having done everything except see any of the shows. First we went to the safari ride (which... More

Realities: - need a taxi to get to it ... from your home or Metro - NOT the best safari I have witnessed, but NOT the worst - bit scary as there is nothing but bars separating you from the big cats .... have your cameras ready, as the Chinese will PUSH and block your view! Top Tips: - buy... More

It was horrible going to the park, all the animals were kept in tiny cages and treated really badly, the "circus show" involved a panda having to climb through a fiery hoop. The lion section was really good though as it was in a separate part where you went on a tour bus through a huge enclosure.

Timing is everything in China. Busy times get packed and Summer/Winter is too hot/cold but this is a good place for families. It's far out from the city center so you will need to plan transport very well and go early. It takes about one hour from center.

Dont miss the cubs feeding session, come at last stop. Worth the visit! Additional: There's locker storage in visitor center or entrance gate. Okay for big luggage.

Animals were feed well but it was very clear that animals looked sad. It was sad to see an Elephant repetitively swaying, rocking and shaking head, some animals biting their legs, an orangutan fed up with tourists staring :( Wish only endangered ones are looked after and remaining left in the wild...

Having read about the Chinese and zoo's (all this is true at Beijing Zoo), I have to say this was a fantastic day out. A cross between a zoo and safari park where you take a bus around various enclosures. It is very clean and plenty of zoo keepers on hand to make sure the animals are well cared for.... More

We visited the park with our little one and half year kid, we hired one row bicycle to ride through the park and it saves us a lot of time as the park is too big and a lot of places to discover, so i recommend that. It took us around 4-5 hrs to see the park. We enjoyed our... More
