delicious and lot of funs

The tourist guide (who i can't remember his name) took us here for street foods and we enjoyed really much. As most of south China foods are hot, delicious, spicy as i love.

Moqian Restaurant was really the best of the best. Modern chine restaurant combined with authentic food. Interior was exellent choice with modern screens. Lot off Jung people, lot of colours and good music. Be careful, the little spicy is very hot.

Great neighborhood for sampling and kinds of street food, night shopping from street stalls and just enjoying people watching. Great place to sit with a beer in the open air and just enjoy the smells of the city.

To get here, take Metro to People's Square station. It's about 5mins walk away. Both sides of the street are filled with restaurants & small cafes selling local food/snacks. Some of these restaurants' staff were preparing raw meat on the outside, in front of the road. Some had dirty looking pots. The street itself wasn't very hygienic. Decided not to... More

From Hotpot, to roast duck to little lobsters. 1) XiaoShaoXing on YunNan South Road 69-75, Shanghai, China. Very tasty chicken congee, Cold Chicken. Limited selection but the congee and cold chicken is really nice. 2) Yan Yun Lou for Peking Duck

First I'll say there is a really good mix of things here from HotPot to Seafood. But nothing earth shattering. In Shanghai I've found much better food and cheaper elsewhere. Second I'll say the guys on the corner of Yunnan South and Ninghai East Roads grilling Yang Rou (mutton) on a stick must be famous because locals were lining up... More

Great street full of food stalls of all varieties, the prices are really cheap compared to a lot of other places in Shanghai. If you want authentic local food, do yourself a favour and find this street.

I came here with a local and hence was able to wander up and down the road of 100s of food vendors and discuss what each one sold and what was good, recommended, bad etc. Just the walk along the street was a fun way to spend an hour in the evening. It was great having someone to translate as... More
