Neighbourhood: Former French Concession
While there are technical borders to the area formerly governed by the French in Shanghai, the "French Concession" of today is an amorphous neighborhood that is a favorite of the city's foreign residents. While it is mostly within the Xuhui district, residents will sometimes include parts of Jing'an and Luwan in their mental maps of the Former French Concession. The area seems frozen in time, characterized by quiet, tree-lined avenues, French-style villas, interesting boutiques, lively bars and quaint cafes that are not typical of China. All of these mix and mingle with local life as Chinese markets and lanehouse communities are peppered throughout. Denizens of the Former French Concession can spectate a mahjong game on the street or get their bike checked at a tiny bike repair store on the way to their refurbished apartment tucked away among Chinese family homes.

Probably 1 of the best shopping malls in shanghai in addition to IFC. Unlike IFC, IAPM has many more restaurant and food options. As well as non luxury shops. And a Sephora and Muji. IFC is more luxury focused and a whole floor of cosmetics

Line 10 South Shaanxi Station will lead you straight to the IAPM Mall. Very convenient. The mall is less posh on the LG1 & LG2 but super posh on the levels above! There is a supermarket on LG1 that carries quite a variety of foreign products. Food here is great. Level 5 and 6 have great restaurants. We enjoyed our dinner at The Cut for steak and burger. If you step out of IAPM mall, just across the streets, there is the Paris Spring Mall and the Parkson Mall. Enjoy exploring!

In Shanghai I can visit everyday another shopping mall and one life time would not be enough to see all.
This is one of the latest.
Filled with a lot of Super high priced labels, cinemas and some good restaurants.
City super is still the place to get imported food you can’t find anywhere else at high price.

Packed with designer shops, you can find everything you want ! large, beautiful and technological , has little store location information and you may feel a little lost.

I shopped from Adidas on the 4th floor without any discount or sales or any announcement of such terms and I regretted in two hours. But I was told “no return unless there’s any quality issue”!
This is the worth shopping experience ever.

Went here to do some shopping for my family. What i liked about it is that its not massive, however a good size. It also has a cinema on the top floor.

I visited this mall today with my friend. We walked around and ate lunch at Baker & Spice. Their restaurant is clean, neat and the food and juice are fresh and delicious. This is a mall to come to if you want the expensive brands like Dolce & Gabbana, Prada, Fendi, etc. I usually visit this mall for the restaurants as I am not interested in all of those super duper expensive brands. If you want a visually pleasing, modern and clean mall experience, come here.

Beautiful and rather large mall filled with fashionable stores. It has everything from H&M to Gucci. Well worth a visit, but it isn’t the most inexpensive of places.

What metro stop to mall

Metro Line 1/10/12 directly connected with iapm Mall. Station is Shanxi Nan Lu (Shanxi South Rd). Bus station is also within 2/3 minutes walk. Taxi is also very inexpensive (US$ 3/4 or more depends on the destination) and available outside the Mall Gates.
