Great park for picnics with a view of the river. The splash pad is great on a hot day... lots of great concerts and festivals here! Very nice park!

Beautiful well-kept park. We sat on the park bench and watched the river flow. Very peaceful. We could imagine in another time when this park was very active with trade items being loaded on steamers. there is a tunnel that goes under the railroad tracks that take you to the plaza. They originally used the tunnel to accommodate wagons bringing... More

A very nice riverfront park. It's kept up nicely and there were plenty of walking areas and green space too. Lots of history, some statues and places to relax.

The water front park is very nicely done. Shows the history of the river and city from when Coton was King in Alabama and the South. You should not miss thei walk.

We had high hopes for this park reading the great online reviews so put money into the parking meter to cover us for an hour and we were back in about 20 minutes. Firstly you have to walk through a tunnel from the street to the park. It smelled of urine, there was a couple making out on one of... More

We saw the place on a cold day and still enjoyed it tremendously. The VIsitor's Center provides great info, and even offers free parking for the State Capitol area....

We visited the Riverfront Park one evening by mistake. We were in search of a restaurant. Unfortunately the signs are not clear and we found ourselves unable to get out unless we back tracked along the route we came in on which was frustrating. That said, the park looked lovely and you can imagine it to be a lovely location... More

Riverfront park is a great place to take a stroll or catch a sunset. There are bars and restaurants within walking distance. They sometimes have movies, festivals, concerts, and theater showing at the amphitheater within the park.

What a great place to visit and listen to live music. Montgomery is really a happening place. Laded back but full of good times.

This is a lovely walk if you have an hour to kill; my guess is that it comes alive if the town has a celebration. Boat rides are available and loads of wildlife to enjoy
